ADDICTION RELAPSE PREVENTION PROGRAM
ADDICTION RELAPSE PREVENTION PROGRAM
SWS is a uniquely comprehensive relapse prevention program enabling mood and emotion regulation. SWS assimilates emotional autonomy and diminishes emotional reactivity by intercepting the impulsivity
associated with addiction relapse.
SoulWalk In Sobriety Program is not psychotherapy, nor is it a 12-Step program. SWS is a uniquely comprehensive addiction relapse prevention program integrating education and hypnotherapeutic techniques and practices. SWS teaches cognitive, emotionally grounding tools used as a daily internal resource. While cultivating sustainable emotional self-reliance, SWS intercepts the emotional stressors that precede addiction relapse.
The foundational component of the SWS Program is the Cognitive Self-Questioning Practice (CSQ). CSQ’s primary focus teaches one to build a relationship with self, based upon emotional availability. Relationship with self replaces the relationship with addiction and addiction behaviors. CSQ effectively helps to regulate mood and emotion while transforming self-destructive thought patterns and internal responses to stress. Neuroplasticity of the brain enables NEW thought patterns and consequently, the program initially done cognitively, on purpose, develops into an automatic psychological response. *Neuroplasticity of the brain enables these thought patterns to solidify over time.
Combining hypnosis with repetition of the CSQ practice creates new neuro-pathways, strengthening the process of seeking emotional comfort and resolution through emotional self-reliance. Emotional resilience and equanimity transform
the emotional climate for those navigating new and continued recovery.
*Neuroplasticity, also known as brain plasticity is a term that refers to the brain's ability to change and adapt as a result of experience. Behavioral and thought patterns are made up of groups of brain cells that form neural pathways. Neuroplasticity means that people can and do change. By changing how existing brain cells work function, we can make healthy behaviors and positive emotions easier to experience.
A state of psychological stability and composure which is undisturbed by experience of or exposure to emotions, pain, or other phenomena that may cause others to lose the balance
of their mind.

The number one reason for addiction relapse is the inability to manage negative emotions stemming from life's constant changes, fears of the unknown, relational issues, grief, loss and trauma. Due to the uncertainty of life, studies show that addiction relapse can happen at anytime. Whether you are preventing relapse, have already relapsed or identify as a chronic relapser, SoulWalk In Sobriety Program, now is a good time to learn mood regulation and management of negative emotions. You may have solid addiction abstinence behind you, yet you are struggling emotionally. Perhaps you've noticed anger outbursts, anxiety, depression, reactivity or feel emotionally disconnected altogether? These can be symptoms of emotional pre-lapse which typically precedes full-blown addiction relapse from any kind of addiction: drugs/alcohol/smoking/vaping/food/gambling/codependency, sex, etc. SWS is your ammunition against relapse.
