SOULWALK IN SOBRIETY
Q. I know I am not an addict, however, I am aware of mental health issues that
cause me a lot of suffering. Can your teachings, practices and therapeutic
interventions help me?
A. Yes, without a doubt. Being human, one is constantly having difficult emotions,
it is unavoidable. The goal is to not to be void of emotions, it is to be able to
have emotions without them debilitating you and making your life
unmanageable. All too often, there is an assumption that, "If I just push my
feelings down and don't feel them, I can function." Unfortunately, the opposite
is true. The answer is to become a master at managing your emotions. When
you feel them, the negative energy dissipates and it takes "the edge off."
Q. I am interested in finding out more about your integration into our existing
treatment model. What do I do next?
A. Either call or send an email to schedule a meeting to discuss the needs you have.
Q. I am interested in your concierge services. How do I get started?
A. Simply call and we can schedule your free consultation or first session.
Q. I have some bad habits, and unclear if I am "addicted". Would your services help
me to figure that out?
A. Yes, most definitely. Whether you are an addict or not, learning how to manage
your negative emotions may be one of the most value assets you can possess.
At the very least, you will learn to navigate deeper levels of self-honesty enabling
personal growth and evolution.
Q. I don't have any spirituality and I am not interested. Can I still benefit from
your program?
A. Yes, no matter what spiritual beliefs you have or don't have, you can still benefit
from the program. Your spiritual beliefs are your choice and do not have to be a
part of your therapeutic process.
Q. What can I expect during my first session?
A. We will access your needs and design an individualized goal-oriented program
for you.
Q. Is your program psychotherapy?
A. No. The program compliments psychotherapy, consisting of various
evidence-based practices proven to effect positive change to one's emotional
landscape. A combination of modalities such as hypnotherapy, hypnosis,
BodyTalk Technique, NLP, CSQ, inner child, just to name a few, have been highly
effective in helping one to not just feel better, but results in profound changes
to how one experiences self and life.
Q. I don't feel safe in expressing feelings, is there work I can still do with you?
A. Yes. You may choose to simply relax while stress reduction exercises are
facilitated for you.
Q. I don't think I can be hypnotized, can your program still help me?
A. Most people can be hypnotized when understanding exactly what hypnosis
REALLY is, opposed to what the media has taught us. When in a hypnotic state,
you are fully in control, physically relaxed, emotionally calm and mentally alert.
No one can make you do or say anything against your own will and desire.
Q. Is the program you offer, just hypnosis?
A. No. The program is as comprehensive as you want/need. A combination of the
following is available:
Q. I am in a bad mood all the time, and I am biting off people's heads! I have
zero patience. Is there anything you can do to help me?
A. Absolutely! The work is focused on regulating mood and emotion.
Q. How long does it take to see or feel benefits from the work you do?
A. Varies. Typically within 1-3 sessions, you will feel some emotional relief,
and incrementally, you will notice more and more benefits.
Q. Can I have a consultation before getting started?
A. Yes. You are welcome to call, text, email, or facetime/zoom with any questions.
Face-to-face consultations are available for a fee.
Q. I am having problems sustaining sobriety. I have been a chronic relapser. Can
you help?
A. Absolutely. All addictions serve to push down negative emotions. You will
