SOULWALK IN SOBRIETY
The foundation of SoulWalk In Sobriety Program is the SIX steps of the Cognitive Self-Questioning Practice, (CSQ). CSQ conditions the mind to repeatedly self-reflect and cognitively shift one’s focus internally for resolution to emotional conflict, stress, and discord.
Comprised of six simple cognitive self-diagloguing questions, CSQ empowers one to self-regulate mood, manage negative emotions, simultaneously thwart emotional reactivity while transforming self-destructive thought patterns.
CSQ intercepts escalating negative emotions preceding addiction relapse. Inherent in this process is the assimilation of a solidified relationship with self, based upon emotional availability, promoting sustainable emotional autonomy. Essential to recovery evolution is identifying and healing one’s emotional wounds (shame), which is addressed in Steps 4
and 5 of the CSQ Practice.
*Neuroplasticity of the brain enables new thought patterns to solidify over time. Combining hypnosis with repetition of the CSQ practice creates new neuro-pathways that strengthen the internal process of cultivating emotional comfort and resolution through emotional self-reliance.
The emotional rewards of the practice add stability to these new pathways and consequently, the CSQ practice initially done cognitively, on purpose, develops into an automatic psychological response. Emotional resilience, equanimity, and spiritual credence become one's arsenal when combatting the power of addiction.
